Rams aren't going to get much sleep tonight with the phone ringing off the hook all night. Buff has to get in front of Cleveland to get Clausen.

we will have to wait and see people have thier guys but there are still two very good QBs out there. Everybody is talking about Claussen but Colt McCoy is also out there. and he is a pretty darned good QB
another point of intrest... Ja LaCalifirnia (yeah I know it isnt spelled right) reported Buffallo was also trying to trade back up into the first round to draft TIm Teebow as well. not sure if that helps Denver though Buffallos track record the last few years is not that good.

I think Cleveland passes on both QBs. I think Nate Allen will be the pick or possibly Charles Brown.
I'm still shocked over that Tebow pick.

Id like to see the Cowboys try to move up to get Allen or Brown. I also like Bruce Cambell. Im still drooling over the Dez Bryant pick!
I think the Rams should select "Mount" Cody
Im very suprised to see Kindle on the board still, but i guess it was because of his injury. Im not shocked to see Mays there though. He should be gone fairly quickly tho.

On the mock drafts yesterday morning I saw Tebow going to my Vikes and got excited... not to be unfortunately. I don't like Clausen so I'd rather we take McCoy to learn for a year.
There's only one thing wrong with the Bryant pick thats pretty huge... it's near his home, which means all the distractions off the field, "his peeps" etc etc... his best chance would have been to move away and start afresh. Not that he will necessarily get in trouble, but it certainly would reduce the odds if he moved away.

Robert you stole my thunder while thinking about it today I thought you know what Holmgren traded for Hasselbeck from GB for his starting QB in Seattle. and now that he is in Cleveland Seneca Wallace is with him too. could it be likely that The Browns have thier QB on roster already?

on a separate note how about Carolina getting Claussen mid second. What I like best is Carolina broke the chain of trading away future 1st round picks.

Dez Bryants "Character Issues" arent that bad. He isnt getting in trouble with the law. he has an issue with showing up to meetings on time, but im sure that will be fixed with a few fines. and the major issue is that he lied to the NCAA about meeting with Dieon Sanders. Ill take a top talent with those "Character Issues" at the #24 pick. He was rated higher than Crabtree was last year.

Ill take a top talent with those "Character Issues" at the #24 pick. He was rated higher than Crabtree was last year. I'd more concerned about what being late to meetings says about a person, then the actual being late and fixing that. It shows he probably thinks he's bigger then the team and puts himself before the team. Being late to meetings shows a lack of preperation and dedication, which is a huge issue. He showed up to his pro day without his spikes but remembered his 10 person entourage. He is a joke mentally. Fines might get him to practice on time, but they won't make him actually prepared or more dedicated. Just feels like he might lack the drive, heart, or love for the game necessary to become better. Now he's going to have a lot of money and it's tough to say he's going to think less of himself or come down to earth with the money. I'm not even going to touch the issue of his character and that he was so guilty about meeting with Dion that he freely lied about it. I'm ignoring that he freely lied to people that impacted his future, since that is an obvious issue. He lied about something that he didn't even have to lie about, which doesn't boost his character level. He wasn't the first WR off the board, he didn't go as high as he'd hoped, and he has the same agent as Crabtree... I'll let you guys connect those dots as a word of caution to what might happen, but Jerry Jones is more likely to pay Dez more then he's worth. Which is a good or bad thing. Jerry will either give in quick to pay him too much or his agent will hold out thinking that J.Jones will eventually pay Dez too much.

wow Sergio Kindle and Terrance Cody for Baltimore... The Ravens have just reloaded on defense. They also picked up Arthur Jones late. I had him as a early 2nd before he got injured. They did really well again. I am also not worried about D. Bryant's character issues. He was late. It's not really a issue to me.
