We will have a Free Agency Period which will take place after the three drafts take place. Each owner will have a chance to bid on a player. After each bid there will be a 24 hr period in which other owners have to out bid the previous bid. If no one bids by the 24hr time, then you will have 24 hrs to sign that player to a contract of 1-5 years. (this contract does not count against your initial draft pick contracts or your resigning contracts).
If you do not sign the player to a contract withing 24 hours. That player will automaticly be signed to a 1 year contract.
If you bid and wish to retract your bid you may do so if no one has a lower bid. If someone has a bid lower than yours you may only retract your bid if the Owner with as lower bid allows you to do so. They have to be willing to pay the salary of their highest bid. This must be confered with either Co-Comish.
Because of these rules we encourage you to make sure that you want that specific player at that specific salary because retracting bids is something that causes alot of confusion and as the rules state you might not be able to do it

Automatic Player SIgnings Rules Tweak
Automatic signings that would cause a team going over the salary cap would be assigned automaticly to the practice squad. if there is no room for the new practice squad player the highest salried player on the practice squad would automaticly be cut. If there is a tie player cut will be determined alphabeticly by the last name starting with the letter A
