I made an error and unless owners persuade me otherwise I'm going to do nothing about it. But in the interest of transparency you should know about it at least.
When auditing and updating the Fumblers team roster for the new owner, I saw that Alfred Morris belonged on that practice squad because he had been drafted in the 6th round. However I also oversaw an auction two weeks ago where Imperials won the bidding on Morris.
At that time none of us noticed he was already on a PS and the then owner wasn't around to defend his interests. I think undoing this would cause more trouble than it merits. So I'm inclined let Imperials keep Morris, like I said, unless instructed otherwise by the owners.
Which brings up a potential rule change that would mirror the NFL - allowing teams to sign players off of other team's practice squads to their active rosters. If a team declares an intent to do so, then the player's current owner should be able to match the offer as long as the player is promoted to their active roster. Something to ponder during the offseason.

I am fine with Morris staying where he is or the majority opinion. As for being able to sign off of another teams practice squad I would need time to form a proper opinion, as long as it doesn't change this season.

I already mentioned the PS adaptation. I'm sure that majority of the league won't want to see that non-NFL like option of carrying players that blow up on the PS go away. However, it's not a very realistic adaptation of the NFL rules.

Any suggested improvement to the notion, or should we just let it lie?

For right now, I would rather focus on making this league a 1 website league then muddy the waters with any other suggestion.

I agree wholeheartedly, that would be great...
