Meh. I am taking chances on both Franklin and Taylor but if one of them pans out I'm happy. I rather like Manuel, especially if he does not start week 1. You know I love to zero in on one guy i love in each draft class. Fortunately for me this year it's a 3rd round target instead of a 1st, so I can put him on the PS and give him a year to reward my faith.
I changed strategies after round 2. I went into the draft thinking I should only take RBs and maybe a QB. Which I am happy I did for the active roster spots. But when all the crappy RBs who will never pan out got overdrafted I decided to switch to BPA. Even to the point of taking a 3rd Packers WR because he was at the top of my board when it was my turn.
Was tempted to take flyers on random RBs in the 6th but I have no feeling for any of them. Especially the hot mess they've got going on in Houston. Gotta love a guy from a directional school in the Sun Belt who notched 3 sacks against Alabama. And, funny thing, my last pick may end up starting for me. Haven't decided yet.
The trade was ridiculous to be sure but again y'all know I place high value on clearing out roster and cap space. I had been trying to move all those players and they had more or less a 1:1 correspondence to the draft round value I had placed on them, except I rated Wallace higher, more like late 1st. So in my view, I also received a dollar and a roster spot I can use on a player of my choice in June. Of course once I made the deal, 2 of the 3 RBs I coveted went off the board. Manuel was a plan B guy. Honestly what really drove the deal besides a) the roster/cap considerations, and b) my addictions to both trading and drafting was c) the prospect of getting Bailey in the 3rd. So the plan went almost as well as could be expected.

I am going to say it I will not be surprised to see Franklin start over Lacey by the end of the season. Although I was expecting him to drop to round two and I dislike you for that Franklin would have looked so good at 1.11
I think Taylor was an overdraft Manuel intrigues me and since the Bills did a lot to upgrade thier receivers makes him worthwhile as a 2nd round selection. Heard positive things about Bailey post draft
