We will have a Free Agency Period which will take place after the three drafts take place. Each owner will have a chance to bid on a player. After each bid there will be a 24 hr period in which other owners have to out bid the previous bid. If no one bids by the 24hr time then you will have 24 hrs to sign that player, otherwise you will be given a 1 year year contract automatically.
If you bid and wish to retract your bid you may do so if no one has a lower bid. If someone has a bid lower than yours you may only retract your bid if the Owner with as lower bid allows you to do so. They have to be willing to pay the salary of their highest bid. This must be confered with either Co-Comish.
Because of these rules we encourage you to make sure that you want that specific player at that specific salary because retracting bids is something that causes alot of confusion and as the rules state you might not be able to do it.
Also please use the correct position thread for the player you are bidding on.

Is there a deadline for owners to get players they sign onto there rosters? Both here and MFL.
Do we know why we can't reply to player bids?

As for the first, not really although both Charles and I will step in and make adjustments if owners slack off in this. I do intend to audit the MFL rosters sometime Monday or Tuesday. FA threads are locked by mods once players are signed or the bidding process is otherwise complete. If there's a specific thread where that's not the case and you can't reply, let me know. Commentary on FA bids should go in other threads. (although I don't worry about it if it happens while the bidding is in progress - I can stand a little chaos )

Is there a level of priority with free agent bids between PS and Roster? For example, if owner X has a $1 bid for a player for the practice squad can another owner Y bid $1 for the same player for roster or does the owner have to up the bid to $2 to add to the roster? I have looked to see where this is addressed in the rules to no avail, sorry if it is and I haven't been able to find it.

Technically you bid your $. If you win the bid you then designate where you sign him to your roster. For some reason people have started saying before hand where they are putting them by saying "I bid $1 for PS" So it does not matter where they say they are spending the money for, the $1 is the same. If you want to bid on that player you must up the bid.
