good article! i have a feeling he will be better than calvin johnson, BUT if he is in seattle hasselbeck wont be there long so who will throw, not sure if he can do what calvin does without a qb. and if he ends up in oakland he may have ended his carrear when they announce they 7th overall pick!!

I like Crabtrees ability but he needs to be monitoered. If he breaks his foot in workouts you may not ever see his true potential. Do not underestimate Seneca Wallace. He performed admirably last year with no receivers. Crabtree is the type of player who could make an average QB look good. the Raiders is funny. Before this weekend I felt there was no way he drops past Seattle. Now it all depends on how much Seattle loves his tape on him. If they do not feel he is the real deal they could let him drop. If this happens do not be surprised to see a team trade up to get him before Oakland picks at 1.7 I can see a team like Chicago trading up to get him. If he happens to get to the Raiders I think they very well may take him as Nmadi Assomugha has now been signed. but with Percy Harvin's 40 time there is a strong possibility Oakland will take him at 1.7. I am not sure who they would take maybe an OL (Cable Guy was the OL coach before promotion I think) in the first round and look to take Darius Heyward-Bay form MAryland in ealry round 2 or trade up to snatch him at the end of the first round. HB is awesome fast and Davis loves speed so you can not rule out HB being a target for the Raiders.

Harvin has been coved to WR in fact he worked out at the combine as a WR. Harvins combine interview stated the reason he was injured so much was the beating he took as a RB. I think that is part of the reason he moved to WR

Crabtrees value is at the highest if he is drafted with the Seahawks. Seahawks already have an establish team, I believe they are a few pieces away from being a 10 win team no problem. He would also have a very good QB in Hasselback to throw to him giving Crabtree most likely some very nice numbers in is rookie year and sophmore year. Like Sam mentioned, Wallace is very capable of taking over Hasselbacks position and putting up decent numbers. Last year they were being carefull with Wallace at QB not taking many risks, which explained his high completion low INT ratio. Crabtree if he can stay healthy will put up CJ type of numbers or better. Will he be a top 5 in a few years... only time will tell but we do know that hes an ultimate beast.
If he lands with the raiders... then good luck to him..... I dont think Russell is a special QB, nothing more then a big average QB. That may change if he had a WR like crabtree to throw to but Raiders are build to run the ball with that 3 headed monster. I wouldnt go as far to say that if Crabtree lands with Raiders his carreer is over but his numbers wont be as sexy.

wow surgery this cant be good for his stock I actually think it improves it a little. There is less chance of him hurting it further. He will be available for rookie minicamps and his tape from TT is very good. If you were a GM who was questioning his speed in the first place plus his route running you probably were not going to select him in the first place.
