was just thinking through your Eric Manstupid imitation this afternoon Sean as I pondered the fast start the the Racoon City Zombies and I came up with this. (wait and see whenever I talk smack it always blows up in my face why is that )
Trade One: Rougneks trade Michael Crabtree and Larry Fitgerald for Jeremy Maclin and Chis Johnson
Trade Two: Roughnecks trade Jeremy Maclin and Reggie Wayne for Percy Harvin and Anquan Boldin.
if you add both trades together Jeremy Maclin will cancel iself out because he i on boh side of the deal leaving this.
Roughnecks trade Larry Fitzgerald, Reggie Wayne, and Michael Crabtree for Chris Johnson, Anquan Boldin and Percy Harvin
Gave up
Larry Fitgerald 105.5 total points or 21.1 ppg
Reggie Wayne 107 total points or 21.4 ppr
Michael Crabtree 0 tota points or 0 ppg
got back
Chris Johnson 107 total points or 17.8 ppg
Anquan Boldin 64.5 total points or 12.9 ppg
Percy Harvin 76.5 total points or 12.8 ppg
in ppg when you add them all up Tulsa gves 42.5 ppg while it gets 43.5 ppr for a net total of one ppg. I believe the idea of this trade was to trade down from Crabtree to Harvin while improving the players acquird through the rest o the draft. in which case it didnt work so well hoever I must admit Harvin is by far the better rookie to have so far this season but I don't think it was worth the eventual cost.
You may not have destroyed us all with the moves I will admit being bitter for being destroyed by Chris Johnson in Week Two when he put up ridiculous numbers. Had I stayed put at 1.6 I would have taken Johnson there and I believe it was the correct draft call. It burns me up to know that this paticular trade sequence actually caused one of my two losses.
