I'll bite.
Tulsa Roughnecks Coach Homer Jones, Jr. announced that the team has come to terms with first overall defensive selection DE Mario Williams to a five year $6 contract.
Jones said, "Already one of the top DEs in the league at age 24, we are looking forward to Mario leading our team until he retires."
"Plus," Jones added, "his Momma makes a truly fine bowl of Brunswick stew."
Reached for comment at the Houston Texans practice facility, Williams said, "I really couldn't give a darn about your fantasy football." He then proceeded to shred two tackling dummies painted up to look like Vince Young and Reggie Bush with his bare hands.

sooo does this mean we can start? or I can make my 2 selections you may make your #1 overall selection on offense only. do something similar to Tulsa on this thread. your defense selection still needs to wait until midnight for the drafts to offiially open

Roughriders GM Vandegraaf isvery proud to annouce that they have come to terms with, in their minds the best player in the draft, Adrian Peterson. The deal is reported in the range of $35 for the league high 5 year contract which roughly comes to $7 a year. This comes at no shocker as AP is only entering is 3rd year in the NFL and is already the best RB they have seen since the likes of Barry Sanders. Mr. Vandegraaf was reported saying, this guy is the type of player that franchises can dream of.
The officialy annoucement will be made in a little more then 24 hours at the DFL draft.
