Can you or the other member see if we can have one of them in the wings. If the pick goes 24 hours with no choice, then we can give the replacement 12 hours to make the pick and keep this thing rolling with the new owner making the pick themselves.

One owner may already have recruited a new person to take over. But don't let me discourage people to keep looking. I do have a dangling lead from the rotoforum board (to which you refer) from last time we were looking, Moosehead. I can try following up with him if needed. So, the mystery member's new person and/or Moosehead are going to be approached for the possible opening, so we can hopefully have one of them ready. Let me know if neither of them work out and you want me to find someone.

Hey, first person who agrees to take the team gets it so don't hold back.
Assuming Charles agrees with my pick, I'm ready to announce the 1.04 selection when time is up if we don't have an owner in place by then.

Out of the blue, I get an email from Jim Diemer today.
He's expressed interest in getting into an auction league in the past to me, so I asked him if he wants to take another league. Getting a strong owner would be great, if he has the time and capacity sicne I know he's in several other leagues. I told him to reply ASAP if he wants it. I have my fingers crossed.

Jim Diemer will take the team if it does turn out to be abandoned.

Awesome. Jim is a great guy and excellent competitor. I'll write him myself right now.

I'm entertaining offers for pick 1.08. Because certainly someone here is more excited about their options than I am.

I am more interested in trading down than trading up, but I will survey the field nonetheless.

Wow. I'd say the Monkeys have cornered the market on WRs. In my opinion, there is only one left worthy of selection in the top 12. This should be interesting...

OK, I hear the crickets. Picking now so our Scottish friend has the chance to pick before he goes to bed tonight.

Thanks for the reminders. I've been keeping busy offline - I've got engaged and am getting married in June, plus my PC died over Christmas and I've not fixed it yet so my serious internet surfing is almost non-existent. Given what little I have read, all the guys I wanted have gone! For the rest of the draft I'm happy to parlay picks into players or 2013 draft picks if anyone wants to trade for my remaining picks. I'll make my 1.09 pick shortly
