Just sent him a text, I don't think he knew he had to agree to it.

A couple admin notes:
Gryphons has posted his FA resignings (or lack thereof) on his team roster thread.
Crickets and Claymores should know they have picks coming to them. The usual rules apply: if anyone misses a pick at the end of the draft then the draft will be declared complete no more than 36 hours after pick 6.10 is on the clock. That will start the clock on the 2 week rookie signing period. Since we delayed the start of the draft this means there will be a little overlap between this and the opening of roster free agency. Charles and I conferred on this and agreed to get back on schedule June 1 considering that the new owners are all fully involved and were quick to get up to speed. Which is awesome. Thanks guys!

Oh and one other thing: one very nifty feature of the new MFL site is how easy it is to view and sort free agents. Since we can have a 'taxi squad' there all players on rosters should be accounted for. Just go to the top menu at www5.myfantasyleague.com/2012/home/68717 under Reports > Players and you'll several different ways you can view free agents. I have yet to adjust Gryphons roster there and will load the draft picks once the draft is complete, so maybe by the end of the weekend? it should be complete and accurate. Right around that time Charles and/or I will audit the rosters on this board.

It looks like Claymores are going to time out in a few minutes. I'll have to make a decision on what I want to do. I was hoping Bob would steal one of my two flyers so my choice would be easier.

Sorry, I'd totally forgotten I had picked up 6.07. I'll look now. Fair's fair, I seem to have exceeded the overrun 12 hours to make my 6.07 pick so I'll just make 6.09. on the plus side I'm now back home for a while.

I had cut you a little slack and ruled you could go ahead and make pick 6.07 now. I'm prepared to look the other way if you make it today.

The 2012 Rate the Rookie Drafts sub-board is now open! Have fun with it.
Also, it is considered good form to announce your rookie signings in the Team News sub-board. Once those are complete I'll load the rookies onto the MFL site.

I would actually like to make it mandatory to announce them so there is history of which year contracts each player received for records.

Mummies breaking ground in free agency.
I like Mummies new strategy in free agency and I may be using it. Mummies apparently hoping that Tulsa defaults on the $1 bid on the RB's. I like this strategy. If that is your max price, then bid it. If Tulsa defaults on his bid, then you already have the $1 bid put in. This gives oyu a shot at the player still. If you didn't put on in the bid for the same amount, then someone else might get in for $1 and win the player for your max bid before you can put in your $1. Nice.

Interesting. I hadn't thought about it that way. So maybe I should back off demanding my glorious co-commish raise his bids. But I'll tell you right now I have no plans to default on any bids.
eta: In the interest of transparency, I deleted my replies on the BJGE and McGahee bids which had said a new bid has to be at least $1 higher than the previous one. I'll look at the precise wording of the rules but I do believe Hero's is correct this strategy is not against the rules.
